AcaDec Materials
DemiDec began in 1994 as a provider of AcaDec curriculum. Today, the program remains central to our purpose—right alongside alpacas and footnotes.
Each year we strive to create materials that are clear, comprehensive, and affordable. Our goal is to help teams of all backgrounds and objectives make the most of their competition experience.
The Tier 3: Complete Curriculum includes Resource Guides, Power Guides™, Workbooks, Cram Kits, and over 400 exams and quizzes. Many teams also add our Flashcards in Six Subjects and our Curriculum Boosters—such as impromptu topics and the DemiDanger game show.

The Tier 3: Complete Curriculum is our flagship product. It provides a full package of curriculum and testing materials for all the Decathlon events.
Teach the curriculum with Resource Guides. They are thoroughly researched, written in clear, engaging prose, and formatted for ease of use. Special resource kits are available in prepared speech, impromptu speech, interview, and essay.
Outline-style Power Guides™ review every testable detail in each event. They are bold, efficient, and comprehensive.
Cram Kits organize key facts, most likely questions, and “things you probably forgot” in easy-to-use tables and lists for that last-minute crunch.
DemiDrills teach the official booklets through a combination of exercises, activities, and tutorial segments.
Focused Quizzes & Section Exams divide each event into smaller sections—quizzes into very small sections, such as individual poems or subsections, exams into the official packet sections.
Full-length multiple choice Leveled Exams go from one to three, easy to hard, for use at different times in the season.
Comprehensive Exams are full-length simulated Decathlon tests modeled in coverage and style after those found at the competition.
